From the Firehose

Is it a general craze to break up all the restants of the era of art deco or what could it be about. While everybody is going out (it’s Friday night)

Boston pub in Guldenvlieslaan Brussels BE closes because of too negative feedback on their dishes

Boston pub in Guldenvlieslaan Brussels BE has ever been one of the most promising establishments in Brussels.
While you must have a great Friday night I’ll share some news and thoughts about that amazing building in art deco style at the number .2 Well, I have some bad news and some good news.

The bad news is that the pub is closed tonight. I know, I know, it’s a bummer. I was looking forward to having a drink and a chat with some of the regulars there. But don’t worry, it’s not permanent. The good news is that the cafe is undergoing some renovations to make it even more beautiful and cozy. They’re not going to change the art deco vibe, don’t worry. They’re just going to fix some things and add some new features.

So, what’s the reason for this makeover? Well, I have a theory. You see, a few months ago, I was at the cafe and I saw something interesting. There was this guy who looked familiar to me. He was talking to a woman who had a Bulgarian accent. I swear I had seen him before, somewhere far away from here. And then it hit me: he was the same guy who greeted me at the gate of Sunny Day 6, a resort in Tankovo, Bulgaria. I had stayed there for a week last summer and it was amazing.

What was he doing here in Brussels? And what was his connection to the woman? And more importantly, what was his connection to the cafe? I didn’t have the courage to ask him, but I was curious. Maybe he was the owner of the cafe, or maybe he was a friend of the owner. Maybe he had some influence on the decision to renovate the cafe. Maybe he wanted to make it more attractive to Bulgarian tourists or expats. Or maybe he just liked the place and wanted to help out.

I don’t know for sure, but I have a feeling that there’s more to this story than meets the eye. Maybe tomorrow, when the cafe reopens, I’ll find out more. Maybe I’ll see him again and ask him some questions. Or maybe I’ll just enjoy the new look of the cafe and have a good time.

By the way, if you’re looking for other places to enjoy some Bulgarian culture in Brussels, you might want to check out these pubs:

– The Balkan Express: A cozy pub with live music and traditional dishes. You can find it in Rue du TrĂŽne 108.
– The Sofia Bar: A modern pub with a large selection of beers and cocktails. You can find it in Avenue Louise 480.
– The Golden Lion: A classic pub with a friendly atmosphere and a pool table. You can find it in ChaussĂ©e de Wavre 1741.

These are some of my favorite spots to hang out with my Bulgarian friends or meet new ones. Maybe I’ll see you there sometime
